3 Months Old

Today should be a day of joy, but it turned out to be a day of sadness as baby Rayvin should be 3 months old today. Sometimes it seems like so long ago, but sometimes it seems like just yesterday. Sometimes it feels like God is so unfair. So many children out there who are surviving and suffering day by day without food, shelter or love, and yet God has chosen Mummy's lovely baby. Mummy miss u so much, baby Rayvin.

Gathering / Demonstration

Mummy brought 'Koko' Jayvin to Hari Raya gathering cum demonstration yesterday @ Lestari Permai, the site where our new house should be. Daddy bought the house in 2003 & the housing project had been abandoned by the developer (Talam) for many years now. It should be ready by 2005. Mummy & Daddy were still in dating stage then & luckily we did not wait for the house to be completed before getting married. It was potluck event & Mummy contributed packet drinks as Mummy can't cook. Hahaha... The organisers managed to invite a few VIPs, TV3 & a few print medias to report on our pathetic state of 'homeless' citizens. We are victims who can just daydream for our home-sweet-home ...
'Koko' Jayvin seems to enjoy himself with new found friends. They dig the soil & sand under the hot sun for hours. Running & jumping here & there. They were so busy in their own play world that noise & hot weather did not interfere them at all. Wish baby Rayvin was there to join them too ... By the way, Daddy did not attend as Daddy was crazy fishing in Rompin.

Thank You

Thank you WY. Thanks for your constant encouraging words & understanding for the past 3 months. It's amazing that Mummy eventually 'met' WY, a stranger & now a friend, from a local forum. WY, u r Mummy source of inspiration & 'loyal companion' in this bumpy ride.
Thank you to Grandpa, Grandma, Aunty Dollin, Uncle Coon & Aunty Kereen for your love & encouragement in this trying period. I guess we are closer than ever now. Special thanks to Uncle Coon for helping Mummy to compile & develop CD on the beautiful moment with baby Rayvin. Thank you Great-Grandma for offering prayers specially for baby Rayvin. Not forgetting Daddy, FIL, MIL & SIL who had shown concern & support.

'Super-glue'

Lately 'Koko' Jayvin has been very 'super-glue' with Daddy. Daddy has been helping out a lot - from brushing his teeth, change clothes, prepare 'nen-nen' (milk), feed him, drive 'Koko' Jayvin to & fro MIL house, play & read to him, & even bathe for 'Koko' Jayvin.
'Koko' Jayvin will even run to Daddy for help & protection when Mummy scolded him. Hmm.. too much pampered from Daddy & everyone, but can't blame him especially now when he is the only little one around.

'Suddenly' To HCM

It is less than a week till the trip to Ho Chin Minh (HCM) Vietnam, but Mummy has not made any preparation or even changed the currency. Normally, Mummy will be the 1st to complete the To-do List. There were no excitement for this round of holiday. Mummy is going with Grandpa, Grandma, Aunty Dollin, Uncle Coon & Aunty Kereen. It's not suitable to bring along 'Koko' Jayvin as the city is rather dusty & Daddy had volunteered to stay behind looking after him. Thanks, Daddy...

Actually, Aunty Dollin had planned for this trip much earlier. Mummy is not joining them as HCM is not Mummy's ideal holiday destination & besides that, Mummy should be busy caring & breast-feeding baby Rayvin. Rayvin... Mummy's precious baby who had 'sudddenly' gone to Heaven. 'Suddenly', Mummy is free & 'suddenly' Mummy just hop on the tour. Nothing done for the trip yet, no mood at all ...

Spring Cleaning

We had the yearly office spring cleaning yesterday. It was very tiring. So many rubbish & 'memories' were thrown away. Wow, it had been almost 10 years since Mummy started to work there, from an ignorant fresh graduate to happy-go-lucky single girl, till today - proud Mummy to 2 handsome sons.
Time flies ... but the love for Baby Rayvin is as strong as ever. Even Daddy had commented why Mummy still has so much tears - crying day after day, after such a long time. It will be 3 months very soon. People say time can heal the pain. So far, Mummy is yet to find out.
Baby Rayvin, Mummy miss u so much ...

10 kg To Go

10 kg! Oh gosh, that's a big number! Well, it's Mummy's fault. Ate too much junk food, no exercise & gained 25 kg when pregnant with 'koko' Jayvin. Hardly lost much weight when started to conceive with baby Rayvin. Gained 17 kg this round. Now, have to try very hard to lose all those extra piles of fat.

Another Day

The day begins with hot burning sun which drags on till evening, when suddenly rain started to pour non-stop. Roads were terribly congested & drivers were cursing impatiently. In the office, mountains of paper-works keep piling up on the desk. It's just another day ... At home, 'Koko' Jayvin is 'super-glued' to Daddy. Toys & children books were scattered all over the house.
Life is monotonous lately. Nothing special to look forward to. Tomorrow will be another hectic day...

Insensitive Society ?

Mummy was in tears while reading Aunty May's blog today on "Low IQ Girl" - http://mylittlevera.blogspot.com/. With the modern society in the rush for money, status & fame, people can be rather insensitive. Sad but true, even some medical professionals can be rather ignorant too.
As Baby Rayvin was only diagnosed with T18 shortly after being delivered, this is the 1st sentence from the insensitive paeds , Dr E to Mummy - "Your baby is NOT NORMAL". Then he continued by describing all the T18 characteristics as if all T18 babies r very ugly & weak. When he was briefing Daddy, he even pointed at Baby Rayvin's hand & rudely said "See, see, see ....I told u so ...". It was depressing.
Baby Rayvin, u r our handsome boy. U will always be our cute baby Rayvin. Even most of the nurses commented that u r a beautiful baby & will always be ... Mummy love u.

Beautiful Rainbow

Mummy saw a large beautiful rainbow along the Federal Highway on the way back from office just now. This is the 1st time Mummy see a complete arch of rainbow & it's just amazing. Wish baby Rayvin could be here to witness the beauty of nature too ...
'Koko' Jayvin still had flu & Daddy is so kind to bring him to Dr this morning as Mummy is rather busy lately. Proudly to say that Daddy Hong is very helpful & wonderful daddy.

2 Thumbs Up

'Koko' Jayvin woke up as early as 7am today. By 9, he has already requesting for chocolates & sweets. Look at his pix with 2 thumbs up while enjoying the 'Smarties'. "Good & yummy, I love it ..."

We Love U

Baby Rayvin

Baby Rayvin - Our Little Angel (22July2008). We miss u so much ...

Jayvin & Flu

'Koko' Jayvin is still having flu & having a nap right now. Luckily no more vomitting yesterday. Today 'Koko' Jayvin is wearing Grandma's newly bought shirt from Pangkor. Yeah .. looks 'macho' with his tricycle.

T18 Angels

Lately, Mummy has been visiting various websites on Trisomy18. It broke Mummy's heart to see so many little angels were separated from their loved ones. However, there are also a few surviving T18 angels. Mummy wish that baby Rayvin is also one of the angels in the miraculous journey. http://www.t18moms.com/families.shtml Baby Rayvin, sometimes Mummy felt guilty. Maybe Mummy should try harder. Mummy miss u so much ...

10 October 2008

Gloomy Day

The weather was rather bad for the past few days - burning hot in the afternoon & heavy rain in the evening. Many people were down with flu, cough & fever. Maybe that's part of the reason for Mummy to be rather moody & stressful lately.
Mummy watched our VCD again last night & u were just beautiful, baby Rayvin. Mummy miss u so much ...

08 October 2008

Jayvin Fever

'Koko' Jayvin had fever & flu since yesterday, therefore Mummy is taking leave today to take care of him. Had been crying & very "manja". Sleeping now after taking his medication. Luckily, Daddy had recovered from his fever & flu too.

Holiday @ Pangkor

We just came back yesterday from fun, but rather tiring holiday & family gathering at Swiss-Garden Damai Laut, Lumut (3D2N). 'Koko' Jayvin enjoyed the most - swam happily in the pool & Pangkor Island hot sunny beach, built & destroyed sand castle, played & ran wild at the playground, ate lots of candy, also entertained & brought laughter to the whole family.
Sometimes in the midst of joyful moments, sadness suddenly appeared. Mummy wished baby Rayvin was really there. (Mummy brought along your name bracelet) Mummy wanted to witness your smile & laughter too...
Finally, home is peaceful & quiet again. Uncle Coon & Aunty Dollin drove back to Kuantan last night. Grandpa, Grandma & Aunty Kereen went back to KB this morning. Daddy is at work & 'Koko' Jayvin is at Grandma's (S.Kembangan). Baby Rayvin, Mummy miss u & will always love u...

Missing U Always

Even though it has been a week since Mummy's last posting, Mummy always remember u no matter where Mummy goes & always miss u, my darling baby Rayvin.
