Almost 5 months

It has been almost 5months now (9 Aug - current). Needs new inspiration, new hope, new life ... Is it far or near or nowhere to be found ??? It's tiring ...
For Jayvin's sake, Mummy has to strive, go on, day by day ... May the blessing works ...

Kota Bharu (21 - 27 Dec)

Mummy brought 'Koko' Jayvin to Kota Bharu to visit Great Grandma (Tai Ma). We have been here almost a week, an extended vacation due to 'Tai Ma's' request. It rained the first 4 days we were in KB but that did not deter our shopping trail. We visited most of the major shopping centres in Kota Bharu - Mydin, KBCC, Tesco, KB Mall, Niwarna & to Billion later in the afternoon. Hahaha ... At the age of 82, 'Tai Ma' is a energetic & still a shopaholic. When Mummy was just a little girl, 'Tai Ma' used to bring Mummy & 'Yiyi' D to the KB town for shopping in a little trishaw. We will dress in our best attire & even put on make-up.  'Tai Ma' also prepared delicious home-cooked meal for us now & then. Mmmm ...
We will be heading to Kuantan tomorrow, where Grandma & 'Kong Kong' are staying currently. Hopefully, Mummy will be able to bring Jayvin to Teluk Chempedak every morning like the previous trip.

Surprised Result

'Koko' Jayvin had his final exams on 1-4th Nov. Mummy had a tough time, hell, guiding him. Sometimes it has even reached Mummy's boiling point.
Jayvin is very playful, forever playful & unable to focus. He will start to scratch his head, his hands, his legs, playing with his toys whenever he studies. Talks nonsense non-stop ... Argghh ... Since Mummy is so free, Mummy gave him constant revisions for 2 weeks before the exams.
There was once when Mummy just can't stand him & even suspected if he has autism. That's bad but he has been writing a lot of letters upside down. Maybe he is under stressed too but Mummy had been giving him a lot of liberty - 15 min of study, 15 min of cartoon, another 15 study & cartoon again. He was so energetic and jumped watching the cartoon, but was so weak & no energy during revision period.
Mummy was only hoping that he will achieve >70 marks for all his exams, but miraculously he had 100% for his English, 92% for Maths & Chinese respectively. That was a pleasant surprise ... & very rewarding for Mummy.
Anyway, Mummy has to fulfill Mummy's promise to buy him the Doraemon & Power Ranger toys for the 100% achieved. Lots of toys for him & a sweet memory for Mummy ...

Food Trail (4-7 Nov)

Mummy & 'Koko'Jayvin miss Yiyi K a lot. We had a great weekend together. It was a happy food trail weekend with shopping ...
Started off with the best claypot 'low shi fun' & roast meat noodles in Petaling Street for dinner on Thursday, we continued with the best curry mee in OUG for breakfast on Friday morning. The thick, spicy 'santan' curry are our favourite, but 'Koko' Jayvin hates that hot coffee shop as expected. Then, it was shopping time at the rows of boutiques in OUG and OUG Parkson. For dinner, we went all the way to Nong & Jimmy BBQ but we were late (7.45pm) & there were no more seats with a very long queue. We changed venue and had sumptuous but a bit over price meal of the famous 'sang ha' noodle in Pandan Indah for dinner with Daddy . Yummy ... fresh, large prawns ...
On Saturday, we decided to head off to Klang just to enjoy the famous 'bak kut teh'. Hmm ... thick, black, herbal soup served with the 'oil' rice is just perfect ... Then, we continued our shopping at Jusco Bukit Tinggi, had Old Town 'nasi lemak' with coffee 'gao'. The price has been increased recently but the food standard has dropped. Pathetic ...For dinner, we went all the way to Nong & Jimmy BBQ again. We ordered 2 varieties of crabs, 1kg each with black pepgper & the most delicious curry crabs. The thick, eggs-filled curry were just umpph ... We also had squid curry, seafood 'tom yum', BBQ fresh cockles ... The bill comes up to nearly RM140, a bit pricey but very, very satisfying.
On Sunday, we went to OUG again for a simple breakfast. No more shopping trips. We sent 'Yiyi' to the bus station to catch her 3.30pm bus back to Singapore and parted goodbye with a heavy heart & heavy stomach. Hahaha ...
We shall see her again soon for 'Koko' Jayvin's 4th birthday celebration by end of this month. Till then, we shall continue our food trail again ...

Happy Weekend

This Friday the Hindus will be celebrating their new year - Deepavali. It's a public holiday in Malaysia & the best news is 'Yiyi' Kereen is coming over to KL, all the way from Singapore today. Yeah ... It has been a long time since she's here - ehmm ... a month ago ...
Going to be a great weekend & luckily 'Koko' Jayvin had finished his final exams too (1-4 Nov). Mentioning his exams really stressed out Mummy. Suddenly, Mummy had a bit of the 'kiasu' attitude. His teacher did mentioned that he did not focus in class, playful & always 'dreaming'. Hmmm ... Grandpa & Grandma said it's ok as he is still small, short of roughly a month to his 4th birthday. Well, it's quite true but hopefully he will be able to focus & pay attention on his studies later ...

Wind Of Change

Life is not great nor wonderful. It's time for a change. A drastic change in life. Some actions to sustain life ... It's not easy, never will be. Mummy needs ccourage, confidence & a little bit of luck ... For Jayvin's future, Mummy has to seriously consider a major change ...

It has been 2Y3M4D since baby Rayvin left. Staying at home makes Mummy miss u more everyday & can be very emotional at times ...

10.10.10 Fishing Competition

'Yeye' & Daddy were so high in spirit in participating the Shah Alam's Fishing Competition. Held on 10.10.10, it has attracted more than 2000 participants with the grand prize of RM40,000. Each participant pays RM100 for each fishing road. 'Yeye' even 'camped' at the lake since 5pm the day before.

It was hot, as expected & but something was amiss. There were NO FISH the the whole day, very unusual for the lake which is famous with abundant of fishes. Hmm ... Sound fishy
Luck was not on our side but it was a great family & friends outing, minus the sunburn ...

Shocking News

Mummy was browsing through some familiar T18 blogs as usual & had a shocking news. Mallorie Rose, a young beautiful girl had passed away recently. It's sad & heart breaking ...
http://www.malmalrose.blogspot.com/
At times like this, Mummy miss baby Rayvin very much ... No one know how it feels ...

Bipolar & Depression

We had a shock last week when being informed that a relative was diagnosed with bipolar since 2 years ago. 'Kong Kong'  is most affected by the news. It was later discovered that 2 other far relatives also have symptoms of depression some time in their life before.
Mummy had the puzzle solved finally, it is hereditary. However, it's sad that many labelled them as 'crazy, mad, senget, gila ...'. It's getting more confusing.

Travel & Holiday ...

Mummy & 'Koko' Jayvin came to Kuantan right after his school session on 3rd Sept (Fri). 'Yiyi' Kereen & Uncle, 'Kong Kong', Grandma 'Mama', Great Grandma' 2nd Uncle relatives were here too. We were there to celebrate Veyron's 1st birthday.
On Sat, we had a 1/2 day tour to Sg Lembing. Had delicious, traditional & value for $ 'yong tau foo', visited Museum, Crystal House which happens to belongs to a friend's family & lastly the hanging bridge. Grandma prepared authentic lunch for all of us - 'kao jam', the Thailand rice mixed with various fresh green vegetables and fish meat, served with fried fish and of course, the 'Budu'.  By 6pm, we went to Teluk Chempedak forever beautiful beach before heading to the party venue at Crocodile Rock. They served great western food, and we decorated the place with balloons, party hat, and it ended with a cake cutting on the specially ordered Baskin Robbins's Clown ice-cream cake.
Daddy only arrived in the early Sunday morning due to work. We then went for 'Koko' Jayvin's photography shooting. 'Kong Kong', Grandma & Great grandma had a session with us too. However, sad to say that the photographer is not very skillful. Upon checking later, the photos turned out to be 'normal' only but the owner had promised us for additional another session. That's a relieve but very  troublesome. Furthermore, Greatgrandma & Daddy are not around for the 2nd shooting.
On the 6th, Mummy & 'Koko' Jayvin followed Great Grandma, Grandma & 'Kong Kong' heading north to Kota Bharu. It was a smooth drive & we arrived at 3pm in KB. We had nice lunch at Mid Town cafe, which was recommended by Great Grandma.
On the 7th, Mummy had a long drive again. We went to Rantau Panjang, a duty free & border town to Thailand (Sg Golok), shopping paradise of Thailand's product. It had expanded and lots of shop lots offering various items - clothing, food, flowers, decorations items, bags, shoes, dining ware, souvenirs, wedding gifts ... Mummy bought 2 sets of Jayvin's clothes, Great Grandma bought him a set too, 2 special jungle design T-shirts for Daddy & 'Yeye', dried decoration flowers for SIL, bangles for Mummy. As we had plenty of time spare, we headed to 'Sleeping Buddha Temple' for lunch (kaow jam) and then to another duty free area - Pengkalan Kubu. It was rather small compared to Rantau Panjang, but we still managed to get several items there - Jayvin's shoes, Ferrerro Rocher chocolates and lots of dried food - bananas, jackfruits, yam, cashew nuts ....
Mummy had a leisure rest at 'Kong Kong's' house on the 8th.
On the 9th, Mummy, 'Koko' Jayvin & Grandma went to KB Mall for shopping. Mummy will surely report duty to the shopping mall every trips back to KB. Mummy bought a blouse, a T-shirt for Jayvin & mooncakes for MIL, Great Grandma & for our own.
By the 10th (Fri), we travelled south back to Kuantan again. As it is the 1st day of Hari Raya, the journey is very smooth and hassle-free. We reached Kuantan around 4pm.
Yesterday (Sat), we went to Tunas Manja, a local supermarket for some fresh groceries. In the evening, 'Kong Kong', Grandma & Mummy brought 'Koko' Jayvin to Teruntum Mini Zoo and to the Teluk Chempedak beach. It was very, very jam and we parked our car very far away to avoid the congestion. The sea water had subsided, lots of people, old and young were at the beach, many had great time catching the hermit crabs & crabs. Jayvin had a lot of attention from the passer-by for his pail full of the collections of hermit crabs and crabs, thanks to every body's help. Jayvin had also courageously touched the 2 iguanas, a pet from a Malay family.
Our holiday trip is almost to the end today, 12th Sept. School is starting by tomorrow. We will be going for the 2nd session of photography in the morning before heading back to the city in the late evening. It was a tiring drive & holiday for Mummy, but a great family gathering. Jayvin had an awesome time & is still sleeping now (9.25am). Must charged his battery to the max before starting his active day of non-stop playing, running & talking ...

Great 4x4 Trip @ Keratong

A challenge to remove the fallen tree

Daddy's catch of the day & our fresh yummy dinner
'Koko' Jayvin had so much fun under the sun, surrounded by the natural beauty of the rain forest. The air is fresh accompanied by the forest natural music (the crickets & insects sound). Jayvin plays on the beach the whole day, catch small little fishes, builds sand castle, plays with the Grandpa 'Yeye's' crickets & frogs, swims & plays at the mini water fall.
It's great to see that he is finally ready for the adventure. Mummy has been waiting for this moment for the last 5 years. Time flies ...

Keratong Forest Beauty Destroyed

We spent 3D2N in Keratong Forest Reserve last weekend. It has been 5 years since Mummy's last trip there but it is so much different now. The beautiful rainforest is almost 'botak' thanks to the logging activities !!!  The river is also very yellowish & muddy, with so much less fishes compared to previous trip.
There are 3 'kongsi' site, bumped into few 'lori hantu' with several active logging activities. Eventually, we were informed by the Perhilitan that this is the 3rd round for logging activities targeting the smaller timber. Such a pathetic site.
Mummy wonders what it has to offer for 'Koko' Jayvin in the next few years. Will he be able to enjoy the natural Mother Nature in the future ??? Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable trip for all of us, especially 'Koko' Jayvin.

Lovely ...

1st 4x4 Adventure For Jayvin

We will be bringing 'Koko' Jayvin for his 1st off-road adventure this weekend. Had been more than 4 years since Mummy's own off-road trip. We are going off to Endau-Rompin jungle for a 3D2N trip. 'Koko' doesn't quite understand yet when we mentioned to him that we are bringing him for camping. Anyway, Mummy knows he will enjoy himself very much, play & enjoy his childhood, back to the mother nature. Thank goodness, FIL 'Yeye' & MIL 'Mama' will be lending a helping hand watching after 'Koko' Jayvin.
Mummy had started to pack a bit, some clothing, towel, medicine, so many things to bring, ... That's tiring ....

19 August 2010

Short Term Plan

Forget about all the worries ... Let fate decides ...
We will be going for camping in the jungle (3D2N) this month end, near Johor. 1st experience for 'Koko' Jayvin. Mummy knows he will just love it.
Then, we are going to Kuantan to celebrate baby Veyron's 1 year birthday. From there, Mummy & 'Koko' Jayvin will proceed north to Kota Bharu for a week. Let him experience the 'kampung' life, busy chasing after the animals such as cows, chickens, cocks, ducks, horses, birds, goats etc at 'Kong Kong's' house. Not forgetting riding around the villages on 'Kong Kong's' motorcycle, visit to the  Anis Garden & Park. Let 'Koko' Jayvin be a boy, let him out of the concrete jungle, let him be wild and be free ...

Disappointed

Mummy received the heart breaking call yesterday. The heart just broke into pieces. Not too sure what to do now, what's waiting in the future. No plan, no idea, just wait. Are there any silver line on the way ???

Wealth ...

Funny, but rather true ... We are getting wealthy as we get older ...
Wealth!!
Silver in the Hair
Gold in the Teeth
Stones in the Kidneys
Sugar in the Blood
Lead in the Feet
Iron in the Arteries
And an inexhaustible supply of Natural Gas
We never thought we'd accumulate such Wealth ...

Good Morning Baby

It's a lovely morning. Mummy is waiting, waiting anxiously for the call, a call that going to change our life ...

11 August 2010

2Y2W6D

Baby Rayvin has been 'sleeping' for 2Y2W6D.
The 'mixed rice' aunty at the restaurant (Cheras) was not aware and asked about baby Rayvin today. So sad. Mummy was stumbled with words, not sure what to say, what to do ... till she replied, 'don't say, don't say...'. It hurts ...

R&R

Today, Mummy went all the way to Cheras just to rebond the hair. Crazy right? The worst part was Mummy's favourite salon was closed today. Sigh. Anyway, rebonding done at the opposite salon. Very fast, completed just within 3 hours but rather satisfied. Then, proceed to shop at the Pandan Indah. As usual, bought 2 new office clothings, 3 cushion covers, etc.
Great day, such a beautiful day ...

Citibank Is Hopeless

Finally, Mummy had some personal time & space.
Yesterday, Mummy had a chance to go to Bank Negara and check Mummy's latest financial status & confirmed that Citibank is the culprit ! Mummy had difficulties applying for housing loan thanks to Citibank. A credit card which was returned in year 2002 has not been cancelled yet ! Had not been receiving any communications from them either. Greatest part was Mummy was slapped with interest, late charges, yearly GST as well. Lousy bank ... Made an official complain with letter and hopefully the case can be settled ASAP, which is not very likely. Sigh ...

06 August 2010

Feeling Good

Mummy feels good today. Had 2 interviews today and hopefully to get some good news. Hoping tomorrow will be better and finalized. Then, no more worries.
Countdown to 3 more working days to freedom ... Love u, baby Rayvin.

Jayvin's 1st Sport Day - 24 July 2010

 Jayvin & Yellow team mate
It was a fun family day for us. Daddy and Mummy were there to cheer for the team along with other parents. Even though it was rather hot, but the children were very entertaining. Innocent young faces full of energy, they strive their best to win the race. 'Koko' Jayvin had lots of fun too and eventually everybody received a medal for all their hard work, and also for waking up so early on Saturday morning !

Bad Day

Last week, Mummy's office laptop system crashed. All emails were gone, most data were missing, lots of work stucked. Well, who cares? Nobody, especially the top management. Still need to deliver the work. Have to work all over again from zero. Sigh ... Worst thing is Mummy might be losing lots of $$$. The labelling printing done was rejected by TL, too lazy to argue with them. Mummy gave up and willing to pay with own personal $. Case closed. Bad day ...

Mummy's Birthday
