Yesterday was Labour Day & Daddy suggested for a trip to Pulau Ketam (Crab Island). After having the aromatic 'bak kut teh' breakfast at Klang, we went to the Port Klang (11am). The main jetty had sunk & we had to walk for a while to the new jetty. It was SHOCKING! The whole port was full with human, all flocking under the
hot burning sun to get a ferry ride to Pulau Ketam. Most were families with their young children, teenagers & some guys were with fishing rods ready for their fishing escapade. Too bad there were no queue. We had to squeeze through a sardine packed crowd almost 1/2 hour to secure seats in the ferry. The 35 min ride cost us RM7 one-way trip. 'Koko' Jayvin was speechless, impressed with the whole new experience & engrossed with the water scenery for the whole journey. As expected, Pulau Ketam was jam-packed with people & it was super-duper HOT! After a short walk around, we had another grueling experience - to get a table for lunch! All restaurants were FULL! After a long wait, we finally had a table, waited long hours for our food which turns out to be average only. We had black pepper crabs & mantis prawn with 2 cans of 100 Plus, which cost us RM52.10. Rather costly but rather expected especially with the big crowds. We can eventually get a better quality crabs in KL.
Well, most important is 'Koko' Jayvin enjoyed himself very much. However he was a bit agitated & naughty though - always wanted to be 'pau-pau', maybe due to the hot weather. It felt like paradise when we reached home at 4 pm, had refreshing shower & a soothing nap in the cooling air-conditioned room.
Baby Rayvin, Mummy wish you were there with us too. There were so many beautiful children in the ferry. Miss you & love you always.
